New Deathwing and Cataclysm are coming to Hearthstone.
In the previous expansion, at the height of the crisis, Murozond destroyed the Hourglass of Time and opened a portal to a timeline where Deathwing was victorious. The invincible Worldbreaker has now arrived in Azeroth. Deathwing appears alongside powerful Dragonkin lieutenants who use the returning Colossal keyword and a new keyword, Herald, which further empowers Colossal’s minions. Preparing for the battle to come, Chromie mobilizes his dragonflight troops and asks Thrall to help stop the Worldbreaker. Can Azeroth survive the coming cataclysm?
On March 18, 2026, collect the dragonflight and face Deathwing in Hearthstone’s new expansion, CATACLYSM. Inven Global introduces one of the expansion’s new Legendary cards, Vyranoth.
Reaching Total Cost of 100? New Legendary Card, Vyranoth, Revealed

◇ Card Name: Vyranoth
◇ Class: Neutral
◇ Rarity: Legendary
◇ Type: Minion (Elemental)
◇ Mana cost: 6
◇ Effect: Battlecry: If the total cost of the minions in your starting deck is exactly 100, distribute 100 stats among the minions in your deck.
Vyranoth, one of the Primal Incarnations, makes his debut in Hearthstone. These Legendary Elemental Minions have a unique condition-based effect that activates only when the combined cost of the minions in your starting deck is exactly 100. The conditions must be met exactly, not above or below 100.
If the conditions are met, Vyranoth distributes a total of 100 stats among the remaining minions in your deck. For example, if the effect applies to 20 minions in a deck of 30 cards, each minion will gain about +5 stats on average. As an Elemental minion, Vyranoth also benefits from existing Elemental synergies.
The card is very reminiscent of Prince Keleseth from the Knights of the Frozen Throne set and can generate tremendous value as early as six years old if the conditions are met. However, like Keleseth, this also requires significant deckbuilding concessions to activate.
Vyranoth-Focused Deck Required: Big Swing Potential if Conditions Are Met
Vyranoth demands your deck’s total minion cost be exactly 100, which effectively requires a custom-built deck. Achieving this usually results in an average cost of around 3.3, which can make the deck somewhat unwieldy and is an important drawback.
However, once built within those constraints, Vyranoth can increase the stats of every minion in the deck significantly. A total of +100 stats represents a huge increase across the board, making initial activation very worthwhile. Conversely, playing Vyranoth later on might concentrate those stats among the fewer remaining minions, potentially creating more threatening individual units.
Incorporating certain high-cost minions can also make it easier to hit the exact 100-cost requirement while allowing for strategies that channel stat bonuses to specific targets. This opens the door to creative and potentially explosive combos built around cards. Build a custom Vyranoth deck and take on the new Deathwing.
